We appreciate the opportunity to plan, design and install one of our tanks for your next project. Miami Water Heater and CorGal® are confident that we have an ideal unit for your needs as we carry a wide range of storage tanks.
There are more uses for rainwater harvesting than most people imagine. On farms, it can be used for irrigation and to manage agricultural runoff that can be so harmful to lakes and ponds. In homes, rainwater harvesting can replace many of the uses of municipal water such as watering plants, washing vehicles, bathing, washing clothes and dishes and even for drinking. Miami Water Heater will work closely with you to determine the best solution for your needs.
CorGal® tanks range in size from modest to massive. Units with roofs range in size from 6’ to 120’ in diameter. Units without roofs can be built measuring up to 200’. With heights between 4’ and 30’, tanks can store from 700 gallons to more than 500,000 gallons.
Aesthetics are always important in design and we’ve considered this. CorGal® strives to optimally meet your design needs by providing the option of a galvanized, timber, painted or clad exterior. Some customers use our tanks exclusively as unique signage for their locations.
Every one of our corrugated, galvanized steel tank is designed and engineered to comply with IBC 2013 and can be upgraded to meet local requirements and/or preferences. To help meet this possible need, we provide, at customers’ option, a detailed, site-specific structural design calculation package that is developed and endorsed (stamped) by an engineer. This is critical in Florida as the package’s numerous calculations considers extreme conditions, such as, among other factors, storms and hurricane-force winds. Tanks are set in concrete foundations to limit the possibility of movement during high winds or other weather events. In addition, CorGal® takes concrete steps to prevent corrosion and extend lifespan, as every tank is fitted with a geotextile pre-liner and a membrane liner, which keeps tank interior steel walls away from moisture.
Miami Water Heater builds CorGal® tanks on site more efficiently and faster than outdated bolted or welded tanks; the corrugated/galvanized tanks save time and money. Since tanks are assembled after they’ve arrived on site, they can be transported and built on difficult-access sites and can be broken down for relocating if needed.
CorGal® water storage tanks are expected to last over 50 years. The company offers a 10-year structural warranty and liners have individual warranties that cover them between 5 and 12 years, depending on the model.
